The wait is over. Surron Australia is proud to announce the MY26 Surron Light Bee X – the latest and most capable iteration of the motorcycle that redefined electric off-road riding. With a comprehensive suite of upgrades across power, technology, and rider experience, the MY26 Light Bee X raises the bar in every way that matters.
What’s New for MY26?
All-New 72V Power System The MY26 Light Bee X moves to an all-new 72V platform, with peak motor output increasing to 10kW and a massive 295Nm of torque. The result is stronger, more responsive acceleration that riders will feel from the moment they twist the throttle.
New High-Performance Battery The new 72V/35Ah battery delivers up to 75km of riding range and charges from 20–80% in just over two hours, meaning less time waiting and more time riding.
Surron Wheelie Control (SWC) Surron’s new Surron Wheelie Control system uses a gyroscope-based sensor to actively monitor and manage front wheel lift, giving riders greater control and confidence whilst learning. SWC can be adjusted or disabled entirely to suit rider preference and skill level.
Top Speed Increased to 80km/h The MY26 sees a significant increase in top speed to 80km/h – making it faster, more exciting, and more capable on the trail and at the track than ever before.
Centre-Mounted Digital Dashboard A brand new centre-mounted digital display puts all the key ride information front and centre – speed, battery level, riding mode, and more – presented in a clean, easy-to-read format.
Surron App Connectivity The MY26 Light Bee X introduces full smartphone app integration via Bluetooth. Through the Surron app, riders can monitor battery status, switch riding modes, customise throttle response, and review ride data – all from their phone. It’s a new level of personalisation and convenience for the Light Bee ownership experience.
Upgraded Suspension The MY26 features a forged aluminium alloy frame paired with upgraded suspension — including 200mm of front fork travel and a tuned rear shock – delivering confident, composed handling across a wide range of terrain.
Advanced Rider Electronics Three-level adjustable throttle response, Sport and Eco riding modes, tilt protection, brake priority, side stand protection, and regenerative braking all come standard, making the MY26 as refined and safe as it is exciting.
New White Colourway For the first time, the Light Bee X is available in a striking new White colourway, joining the existing lineup and giving riders a bold new way to stand out on the track.
Still Just 59kg Despite all the upgrades, the MY26 Light Bee X retains its signature lightweight chassis at just 59kg — keeping it nimble, flickable, and fun for riders of all levels.
