What’s New on the MY26 Light Bee X?
Surron hasn’t just made small tweaks for MY26 – this is a genuine step forward across power, technology, and rider experience.
All-New 72V Power System
The MY26 moves to an all-new 72V platform, with peak motor output of 10kW and 295Nm of torque. The result is stronger, more responsive acceleration from the moment you get on the throttle.
Top Speed Increased to 80km/h
The MY26 Light Bee X sees a significant top speed increase to 80km/h – making it faster and more exciting on the trail and at the track than any previous model.
New High-Performance Battery
The new 72V/35Ah battery delivers up to 75km of riding range and charges from 20–80% in just over two hours – less time charging, more time riding.
New Centre-Mounted Digital Dashboard
A brand new digital display puts all the key ride information right in front of the rider – speed, battery level, riding mode, and more — in a clean, easy-to-read format.
Surron App Connectivity
The MY26 introduces full Bluetooth smartphone connectivity via the new Surron app. Riders can monitor battery status, switch riding modes, customise throttle response, and review ride data – all from their phone.
Smart Wheelie Control (SWC)
New for MY26, Surron’s Wheelie Control system uses a gyroscope-based sensor to actively manage front wheel lift under hard throttle. SAWC can be adjusted or disabled to suit rider preference and skill level.
Upgraded Brakes and Suspension
A forged aluminium-alloy frame paired with upgraded suspension — including 200mm of front fork travel and a tuned rear shock – delivers confident, composed handling across all terrain. Enlarged pistons, thickened brake lines, and vastly improved structural strength deliver instant and stable braking.
Advanced Rider Electronics
Adjustable throttle response, Sport and Eco riding modes, tilt protection, brake priority, side stand protection, and regenerative braking all come standard.
New White Colourway
For the first time, the Light Bee X is available in a striking new White colourway, joining the existing lineup and giving riders a bold new way to stand out.
Still Just 59kg
Despite all the upgrades, the MY26 Light Bee X retains its signature lightweight chassis at just 59kg – nimble, flickable, and fun for riders of all levels.
